Nathan O’Neill has been with Wescorp since 2005 and first joined New Mountain Sandalwood as the Factory Manager. In this role he was responsible for the daily operation of the factory which included the manufacturing of retail sandalwood products and the logistics in storing and managing finished product. He supervised a staff of up to 12.
Nathan joined our sandalwood processing arm, Wescorp Sandalwood, in 2008 to increase his exposure to the sandalwood industry. He worked closely with the Sandalwood Manager and continues to learn about the properties of the sandalwood tree, and the careful processing and marketing of this precious commodity in the global market.
Nathan is currently studying a Business Commerce degree at Curtin University and hopes that his tertiary education will form the basis for a long term career within the Wescorp Group.
Norman Butler’s retirement after 14 years of service with the Wescorp Group has seen Nathan assume the position of Manager of Wescorp Sandalwood Pty Ltd, a role which through Nathan’s continuous development will help Wescorp continue to lead the sandalwood industry through transparent and sustainable means.
Nathan is the son – in – law of Tim Coakley, Executive Chairman.
