Financial Controller and Company Secretary
Marie is a Chartered Accountant with extensive knowledge and experience with the reporting and regulatory requirements of both listed and unlisted public and private companies across a broad range of industries both locally and internationally. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance at The University of Western Australia, Marie joined Coopers & Lybrand, Perth where she completed her CA qualifications. She then spent 3 years living and working in the United Kingdom where she completed a number of temporary contract assignments. This included an 18 month stint as the Financial Accountant for Warner Village Cinemas, a joint venture between Warner Brothers and Village Roadshow. Upon her return to Australia, Marie successfully combined motherhood and part time contract work before joining the Wescorp Group in March 2004 on a permanent basis.
Marie is responsible for all aspects of the cash management, management accounting, financial accounting and statutory reporting obligations of the group and is an integral member of the Wescorp team.
